Wizard ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Wizard at mywizard.ai.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Email address, name, and profile information from your Google account when you sign in.
  • Email Data: Email content, metadata, and attachments that you authorize us to access through Gmail API.
  • Usage Data: How you interact with our service, including features used and queries made.
  • Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide AI-powered email summarization, categorization, and draft generation
  • Enable natural language chat interactions with your inbox
  • Detect priorities, deadlines, and meeting requests
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve and personalize our services
  • Communicate with you about your account and service updates

4. Data Security

We implement enterprise-grade security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Your email data is processed securely and is never used to train AI models. We use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication with Gmail, meaning we never see or store your Google password.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate our service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing).
  • AI Processing (OpenAI): Email content may be processed by our third-party AI provider, OpenAI, solely to generate summaries, drafts, prioritization, and search results for you in real time. It is never used to train AI models (see Section 6).
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy & AI Processing

Wizard's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described in this policy.
  • We do not transfer Google user data except as necessary to provide or improve those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we never sell it.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless we have your explicit consent for specific messages, it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

AI processing and model training. Wizard uses a third-party AI provider, OpenAI, to power email summaries, draft replies, prioritization, and search. Google user data (including Gmail content) sent to OpenAI is used solely to generate these results for you in real time. Your Google user data, including Gmail content, is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model — neither ours nor OpenAI's. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted through its API is not used to train OpenAI's models.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and download your data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Revoke Gmail access at any time through your Google account settings
  • Opt out of marketing communications

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Email data is synced and processed in real-time but is not permanently stored beyond what's necessary for service functionality. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Analytics are used solely to improve service performance.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
